How great it is to be able to return to the mother Earth something that she’s been giving for years? How great a deal it is to be truly altruistic to the nature? For years we’ve been debating about Global Warming but our lifestyle still hasn’t demonstrated even a midget change for its amelioration. We are and we will continue to witness such debates , but someone somewhere is actually investing into making our lifestyle  yet more benign and environment friendly.

WATERFALL CURATED  is one of a kind clothing brand that is slowly making a mark and obtaining a space in this walloping planet of fashion dominion called Earth. This brand, an outcome of human passion, encompasses the best of both worlds by providing us with fabrics that are handmade, recycled and hand-printed! From fabric weaving , using natural dyes to the printing of the sarees, each piece is customised to present a rare combination of handloom and  handblock printed sarees.

One such masterpiece is their Patli-Pallu patterned saree that feature the patli (pleats) and pallu(loose end of saree that covers the shoulder) with analogous handloom fabrics and the rest of the saree includes some other matching hand-woven material. The one which I am wearing has the patli and pallu in naturally dyed INDIGO BAGRU material whereas the rest of it is made by recycling  old cotton handloom sarees, thus forming a fabric material called  the KHESH.

This not-so-contemporary looking saree coalesce the KHESH (from West Bengal) and BAGRU(from Jaipur) materials , making east meet the  west ,and the not-so-even looking design testimonise the assiduous hand-work behind its manufacturing.  These sarees in every way do justice to the amount we invest into buying them. The incomparable imagination of the designer and the impeccable manual labour brought out in the form of love is sure to make every head turn while you enjoy your comfortable self wrapped in six yards of magic with every move presenting you as a modern fashionista!

Who other than the beautiful Bollywood Veteran actress, Rekhaji would inspire us when it comes to wearing sarees. I used the cheat-code to get this look sorted! This summer of 2017 can be your style extravaganza only and only if you choose to wear fabrics zara hatke and buy from this amazing brand called waterfall_curated.
